Ryan Reynolds and the viral marketing geniuses behind the success of Deadpool have time and again showed us what they are capable of. But there too comes a time when the guy who plays the Mercenary with a Mouth becomes humble.

On Tuesday morning (IST), Reynolds took to Instagram to post the first image from the sets of Deadpool 2. The picture featured a digital clapperboard with the name of director David Leitch and cinematographer Jonathan Sela on it. At the right upper corner of the board, the signature Deadpool heart shape was doodled.

Reynolds captions the image, "The sun sets on day 1. Feels good to be back. This dog can hunt."

The sequel to 2016's sensational hit has a new addition in the form of Josh Brolin who will play Cable. This will be the second outing for Brolin with Marvel Cinematic Universe as he also portrays Thanos in Avengers franchise. Brolin also shared an image showing his transformation into the Cable, aka Nathan Summers.

Atlanta star Zazie Beetz will play Domino. Brianna Hildebrand and Stefan Kapicic will be back to reprise their roles of Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Colossus, respectively.

Deadpool 2 is scheduled to hit theatres on June 1, 2018.
