Will Priyanka Chopra's Baywatch beat box office records of Deepika Padukone's Hollywood debut, XXX Return of Xander Cage ? Well, by the looks of it, NO!
Baywatch has hit theatres in the US and will release on June 2. And according to rough estimates the film enjoyed an extended opening weekend with only $22 million collections. It grossed $18 million in the first weekend, which is much below expectations from a Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron and PC starrer film riding high on nostalgia of a hit TV show.
Baywatch doesn't seem to hold well at the US box office. But will it fare better in PC's home turf? We will know in 3 days.
