The lead of the show, James Norton was one of the front-runners when Daniel Craig was tight-lipped about his return to the franchise. "These films tend to reflect the times so we always try to push the envelope a little bit, anything is possible. Right now it's Daniel Craig, and I'm very happy with Daniel Craig, but who knows what the future will bring?" Broccoli told Daily Mail when asked if fans can expect to see a female Bond or a black 007.

It was Broccoli's father, Albert 'Cubby' Broccoli who was responsible for taking Ian Fleming's spy to the big screen and make it one of the biggest franchise.

After finishing the last Bond movie, Spectre, Daniel Craig had said that he would rather 'slash his wrists' than return to the franchise again. But reportedly, Broccoli managed to persuade him with a big fat cheque of £100 million.

The movie is scheduled to release on November 8, 2019.
