Netflix releases premiere date of Penn Badgley-Victoria Pedretti starrer 'You 3', FIRST look photos out

Fans of Netflix’s hit drama ‘You’ have a reason to rejoice as, after two hit seasons, the psychological thriller will soon return with its third season. Netflix has set October 15 as the premiere date for ‘You 3’. The show is based on Caroline Kepnes’ bestselling books ‘You’ and ‘Hidden Bodies’.

According to Deadline, ‘You’ which stars Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti, has been developed by Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti. Its second season ranked at number five on Netflix’s top ten list of its most popular series in 2019, just days after its release. 

At the end of the second season, Joe (Penn Badgley) was already eyeing a new neighbour, despite being in a relationship with Quinn (Victoria Pedretti). Season 3 of the ‘You’ will begin with Joe and Quinn married and raising their son, Henry, in the northern California suburb of Madre Linda.

Their family life begins to grow complicated due to Love’s impulsiveness and Joe’s budding interest in that woman who lives next door, especially as he begins to feel trapped by how well Love understands him.

Netflix on Monday (August 30) shared the first look photos from ‘You 3’ featuring Penn, Victoria and their baby. “You Season 3 premieres October 15 — FIRST LOOK,” the post was captioned.

The news of the show’s return has left fans excited. “use me as a “ I CANNOT WAIT FOR OCTOBER 15th “ button,” wrote one user while another commented, “Them with a baby is so unsettling but I’m here for it.” A third user wrote, “YESSSSSSS,” while a fourth one commented, “Thank fuckin god some good to look at on Netflix.”

Apart from Penn and Victoria, the show also stars Saffron Burrows, Tati Gabrielle, Dylan Arnold, Shalita Grant, Travis Van Winkle, Scott Speedman, Michaela McManus, Shannon Chan-Kent, Ben Menhl, Chris O`Shea and Christopher Sean.

‘You’ has been produced by Berlanti Productions and Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Scripted Television. Berlanti, Gamble, Sarah Schechter, Leslie Morgenstein, Gina Girolamo, Silver Tree, Michael Foley, and Justin Lo serve as executive producers.
