Today marks iconic singer Michael Jackson's 62nd birth anniversary. In order to celebrate the day, his team has arranged a special suprise for all fans. They are hosting a live event on YouTube, which is expected to play all MJ songs throughout.

Called BK (heart) MJ, the event is going to be hosted by American film director Spike Lee. DJ Spinna, who is a popular face in Brooklyn, will be responsible for the music of the show, which will premiere on YouTube from 12 noon-7 PM EST, i.e. from 9.30 pm to 4.30 am IST. The video is set to go live in less than seven hours.

Spike Lee has been following the tradition of hosting MJ's annual birthday block party since quite some time, and he continues to do so even this year. Michael Jackson, who was the 'King Of Pop', died in 2009 in Los Angeles at the age of 51. He reportedly passed away after a cardiac arrest caused by overdoze of propofol.

Born as Michael Jospeh Jackson, MJ became an iconic American singer, songwriter and dancer. He is best remembered for inventing the 'moonwalk'. His dance and fashion made Micahel Jackson a global icon for decades altogether. He also remains the most awarded artist in the history of pop music.

Michael Jackson's album 'Thriller' had gone on to make and break records when it released in 1982. MJ's estimated earnings were USD 125 million per year. Apart from hosting music tours and singing albums, Michael Jackson was also part of a few films like 'Men In Black II' and 'This Is It'.
