The year's MET Gala was held at New York on Monday at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The theme for MET Gala 2018 was 'Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination' and celebs were seen going crazy with their creative outfits. B-Town beauties Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone too graced the MET Gala this year and while Priyanka managed to turn quite a few heads in her velvet Ralph Lauren ensemble, Deepika's red one-shoulder Prabal Gurung gown with a thigh high slit didn't quite stand out.
Post the MET Gala, her fans expected much more from Deepika at the MET Gala after-party but looks like her outing left them a little disheartened once again. The Padmaavat actress chose to wear a velvet yellow Sandro Paris jacket, and teamed it with a pair of black leggings and black pumps sans accessories. The actress was previously seen donning the same jacket at Shah Rukh Khan's bash back in January this year. While it's actually totally cool to repeat outfits, we just wish that DP repeats those that are stunning, not the drab ones.
While the MET Gala is all about going bold and crazy with one's outfit, putting their best fashion foot forward at the same time, looks like Deepika once again missed the mark at the do.
On the other hand, Priyanka Chopra looked sizzling hot at the MET Gala 2018 after-party. The Quantico actress opted for a pair of black and golden pants and teamed it with a black jacket. The same shade of deep red lip colour that she'd worn earlier at MET Gala completed her look.
