Starring Dwayne Johnson and Nick Jonas in pivotal roles, Jumanji: The Next Level started on a good note. It collected better than Rani Mukerji's Mardaani 2 all over India. However, Jumanji: The Next Level, did not collect as well in West Bengal.

Rani's Mardaani 2 worked best in West Bengal, while Jumanji: The Next Level only managed to mint 60% of the collections. In total, Jumanji: The Next Level minted Rs. 5-5.25 crore on day one. However, if the preview show on Thursday is to be counted, then Jumanji: The Next Level collected Rs. 6.25 crore total since it earned Rs. 1.10 crore on Thursday.

While Mardaani 2 has minted Rs. 3.50-3.75 crore at the Box Office, The Body managed to earn only Rs. 50-60 lakhs. Jumanji: The Next Level, however, will face tough competition from Salman Khan-Sonakshi Sinha's Dabangg 3 which releases this Friday. It would be interesting to see how that movie affects Jumanji: The Next Level Box Office then.
