Andrew Garfield has denied yet again that he will feature in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, Tom Holland's third solo Spider-Man film. Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire, both of whom have previously played the superhero, have been rumoured to be in the film.

The actor revealed in a new interview with Variety that the thought of three Spider-Man actors teaming up on film fascinates him as a fan, but that he isn't ‘aware’ that Far From Home is anything he is ‘involved in’.

He said, “I understand why people are freaking out about the concept of that because I’m a fan as well. You can’t help but imagine scenes and moments of ‘Oh, my God, how f***ing cool would it be if they did that?’ But it’s important for me to say on the record that this is not something I’m aware I am involved in. But I know I’m not going to be able to say anything that will convince anyone that I don’t know what’s happening. No matter what I say, I’m f***ed. It’s either going to be really disappointing for people or it’s going to be really exciting.”

The trailer for ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, which was recently released, only added fuel to the fire. It included the villain Doctor Octopus, played by Alfred Molina, and hinted at the involvement of Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin. Tobey Maguire's ‘Spider-Man’ trilogy featured both actors. Jamie Foxx, who played Electro in Andrew Garfield's ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’, has also announced that he will appear in ‘Far From Home’.

Before the series was revived with Tom Holland in the starring character and a direct connection to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the actor played ‘Spider-Ma’n in two films. The film ‘No Way Home’ will be released in December.
