Christopher Nolan's 'Tenet' finally gets release date in India; Dimple Kapadia shares excitement

Christopher Nolan's latest directorial Tenet finally gets a release date in India. The film starring John David Washington as the protagonist is slated to hit the screens on December 4 this year. The much-awaited sci-fi film has an ensemble cast including Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Martin Donovan, Fiona Dourif, Yuri Kolokolnikov, Himesh Patel, Clémence Poésy, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, with Michael Caine and Kenneth Branagh. Tenet has been released at several intervals across the world.

In a statement, Dimple shared her excitement on Tenet's India release. She said, "I’m extremely delighted to announce the release of Christopher Nolan’s Tenet on the 4th of December all across cinemas in India. It has been an honour for me to be associated with this project. The film has some spectacular action sequences, turns and twists that you can best enjoy only on the big screen."

Twinkle Khanna took to her Instagram page and shared a video featuring Dimple Kapadia. She captioned it as "Always listen to what Mom has to say! #Tenet #ItsTime #041220."

Meanwhile, Denzil Dias, the VP & MD of Warner Bros. Pictures (India) also stated, "We are very proud of Christopher Nolan’s wholly original and mind-blowing feature film 'Tenet' and can’t wait for fans to see it in cinemas."

Warner Bros. Pictures presents a Syncopy Production, a Film by Christopher Nolan, Tenet. Warner Bros. Pictures is distributing Tenet in theatres and IMAX worldwide.

This is the first Hollywood film to release in India amid coronavirus crisis.
