The move will give some earning room to 'Deadpool 2' and 'Solo: A Star Wars Story'
Marvel Studios has moved the release date of Avengers: Infinity War by one week from May 4 to April 27.
With this move, Infinity War will now open day-and-date worldwide.
In a cheeky Twitter thread game with Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr, Marvel Studios revealed the new date.
So this is how the conversation went
Any chance I could see it earlier?

The move takes some pressure off two other Disney movies.
First is Deadpool 2, which is technically Fox release but with the merger now under Disney umbrella. Deadpool 2 is set to release on May 18.
Then there is Lucasfilms' Solo: A Star Wars Story which is scheduled to release on May 25.
The new date also opens a big window for making an impact on box office in the first weekend if China market is open at the same time as rest of the world.
Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Infinity War will gather all the Avengers to put up a fight against supervillain Thanos.
These battles will throw in some brilliant superhero combinations as follows
1. Dora Milaje fighting with Black Widow.
2. Black Panther, Captain America, and Winter Soldier fighting together.
3. Iron Man, The Hulk (or let's focus on Bruce Banner for the point I am going to make), Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, and possibly Shuri working together. Superhero nerd heaven.
4. Thor will meet Guardians of the Galaxy and will team up with Rocket and Groot.
Possibilities are endless!
Along with Robert Downey Jr, the movie stars Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Pratt, Chadwick Boseman, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Scarlett Johansson, Danai Gurira, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillam, and every other MCU character you know.
