Friends' star Matthew Perry gets engaged to girlfriend Molly Hurwitz

Matthew Perry, who people best remember as Chandler Bing from the Television sitcom 'Friends', is now engaged! He proposed his long-time girlfriend Molly Hurwitz a few days back, and she said yes (obviously).

Perry confirmed the news with People magazine. "I decided to get engaged," he said, adding, "Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time."

Surprisingly, the news comes out at a time when there were strong speculations that Matthew and Molly had parted ways. The reports, obviously were untrue, and now Matthew and Molly are ready to take the plunge.

The couple completed two years together. Hurwitz confirmed the news on her Instagram account, which is on private mode. She posted sharing second Valentine's Day with Matthew.

"Second year being my valentine, but his first as an Instagram influencer," she had shared. Molly had also posted, "HVD to my favorite."

For the uninformed, Hurtwitz is a talent manager by profession. She happened to convince Matthew to join Instagram, according to sources.

The couple reportedly spent their Christmas holidays together in 2019, a year into their relationship. Matthew and Molly were celebrating the holidays with her mother.

Posting a photo of her with Matthew, Molly wrote, "According to my parents' custody agreement, my mother was not allowed to have a Christmas tree..."

She also added, "Fortunately, there's no such agreement for a daughter's boyfriend, so Hurwitz gets a treeeeeeee!!!"
