Let us analyse the COVID-19 infection from a different perspective today. You may recall that on August 15 this year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said in a speech from the Red Fort that the country's scientists and doctors working day and night to develop a vaccine for Coronavirus. Finally, there is some good news in that respect today. The wait for the COVID-19 vaccine is going to end soon. Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan has given some important information to Zee News, according to which:

-Indigenous Corona Vaccine will be ready in the early months of the year 2021.

-Following which, corona's indigenous vaccine can come to the Indian market within 70 days.

- Vaccine dose will also be provided for 25 to 30 crore people by the month of July and August.

-More than one-fourth of the country's population will start getting the dose of indigenous vaccine after 220 days.

-The trial of two indigenous vaccines is in its third and final stage.

In addition, Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan explained many more important things about this. These are important pieces of information at a time when some people in the country are trying to spread negative reports about ‘Made In India’ vaccines.

According to the health minister, the indigenously developed corona vaccine will be second to none. Sputnik, Pfizer and Moderna have made claims to have developed the Vaccine but the real relief to the countrymen will be from the Indigenous Vaccine. Foreign-made vaccines are high-maintenance and expensive.

Therefore, the most important point to remember till an actual vaccine reaches us is to follow social distancing norms, wearing face masks and to maintain a six-foot distance.

Every minute at least 30 people are getting infected. Wearing of a mask is like the only ‘Sanjeevani Booti’ in times such as these. To make people aware of the importance of wearing mask, the Delhi government on Thursday increased the fine for not wearing one from Rs 500 to Rs 2,000. Wearing of mask in a proper manner is also necessary for preventing the spread of the COVID-19 infection.

Now let's give you information about the price and maintenance of the corona vaccine of two majors -- Moderna and Pfizer.

A dose of the Moderna vaccine will be in the range of US $32 to US $37, i.e., the price in Indian currency will range from Rs 2,350 to Rs 2,700.

A dose of Pfizer's Corona vaccine will cost US $20 or about Rs 1,500. For a large number of Indians, the price of these vaccines is too high and is sure to pinch the pockets.

Pfizer's vaccine maintenance will require a temperature of minus 70 to minus 90 degrees. If this vaccine is brought into the country, special arrangements have to be made and this arrangement would cost thousands of crores of rupees. You may be happy to see the success of foreign vaccines in the media, but your work is going to be an indigenous vaccine in the future.

Lockdowns are being re-imposed in several countries around the world. The infection is once again rapidly increasing in Europe. A lockdown has been announced in France, Britain, Italy, Germany and Portugal. In these countries, a lot of leeways was given after the first wave of Corona ended, and as a result, the infection has grown very fast and has once again been put on lockdown.

South Australia has been put on the world's strictest lockdown. During this six-day lockdown, only one person from each household would be allowed to go out.

To sum it up, there are a lot of misconceptions around Coronavirus and people should be extremely cautious lest they get infected.
