As a piece of brilliant news for the gamers, Battlegrounds Mobile India has now been launched in India. For pre-registered players, the beta version of the PUBG Mobile alternative was available to download in May.

The developers of Battlegrounds Mobile India, Krafton, Friday, announced that the Battlegrounds Mobile India official version is available for download on the Google Play Store for Android users.

The users who had already downloaded the game back in May have the option of updating the app to get the official version. The game is currently available only for Android smartphone users on the Google Play Store.

As for iPhone users, they will have to wait until Krafton announces the Battlegrounds Mobile India iOS app, the official announcement of which is expected very soon.

Once you complete downloading Battlegrounds Mobile India, you can collect the Constable Set (permanent), which is a reward for 10 million downloads from the in-game events section. In addition to this, Krafton also extended the term to collect the 'India ka Battlegrounds' gift reward, 1 million and 5 million downloads reward till August 19.

Krafton had recently also announced that users can transfer their data from PUBG Mobile over to the new game and then continue playing. The data will be stored securely with Krafton on its servers in Singapore.

This comes at the heels of reports that claimed that BGMI is sending data to Tencent servers in China. However, Krafton responded to the same saying that it is in the process of releasing a small update that fixes the issue of sending and receiving data from China.
