'Non-Stop' revolves around an angry alcoholic US Air Marshall Bill Marks (Liam Neeson) and his attempt to foil a terrorist plot on an international flight from New York to London. He receives a text message while on the flight explaining that one passenger will die every 20 minutes unless 150 million dollars is transferred into a bank account. The film at its core is a thriller with plot twists all around and at least that, it does well.

Even though Academy Award Nominee Liam Neeson leads the charge, most people will agree, Neeson's roles have started to blur together. All his characters are the grim, older guy who ends up being the reluctant hero, and all around scary guy in the end. 'Non-Stop' is no different.

The movie is a far cry from 'Schindler's List' but it’s by no means a bore. The pacing of the movie is fast and crisp, at no time will you be uninterested. The allure of the movie resides with the ability of the script to keep you guessing.

Julianne Moore adds to the entertainment of the movie, as a great and charismatic co-star while the cramped setting of the aircraft adds the much needed urgency and fright that a thriller should ideally include. The setting and the wide list of suspects aboard the plane makes you wonder who exactly the real terrorist is. No one can be eliminated as a suspect as Marks soon realises.

Oscar worthy this is not, nor might you remember it years later, but for now the movie is a fun way to kill a couple of hours.
