One of India’s most popular singings show returned on 26th March which had Pritam Chakraborty, Mika Singh and Sajiid-Wajid while singer Aditya Naryan is the host. One of India’s vintage shows (it has completed 21 years), the new format will entice audiences who felt the show had got repetitive.
The new format has 4 mentors with a panel of 30 music maestros who will assess the aspiring singers. These maestros are industry veterans from DJs to lyricists to singers. All singers will have 100 seconds to prove themselves.
The premier episode saw Shah Rukh Khan turn up to promote his upcoming film Fan.
Host Aditya Narayan shared a picture with Shah Rukh from the sets with the words: “Humble, kind, charming, encouraging & inspiring @iamsrk sir you are the very definition of a superstar! #Fan forever.”
