Zayn Malik says the 'L-Word' for Gigi Hadid and Twitter can't take it

The relationship status of Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid seems to be a permanent resident of the TBD zone. Therefore when on Saturday, the 'Pillowtalk' singer dropped the L-bomb on Twitter, netizens went crazy deciphering the biggest puzzle that is Malik-Hadid romance.

Former One Direction star, clearly out of the blue, tweeted at Gigi Hadid that he loves her! Hadid, who is busy being the darling of the runway at the Paris Fashion Week, is yet to respond, but in the meantime, the couple's fans on Twitter decided to have a collective meltdown.

What added fuel to the fire was Hadid spotting away from her hotel which gave way to the speculations that the supermodel had stayed with Malik. Hadid was quick to pour water and tweeted,

Malik and Hadid first started dating in November 2015. After three years into the relationship, they first sparked split speculations when Malik was nowhere to be seen in the audience of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in November 2018 as Hadid walked the ramp. In recent times, the duo spent holidays apart and after Malik unfollowed Hadid on Instagram, it was assumed things were not working out between the two.

According to a report in People magazine, Hadid was also not part of the party Malik threw for his latest album, Icarus Falls. On the same day, Hadid shared a picture of herself with her equestrian friend with the caption, "Preferred house guest."

If there was even a smidgen of doubt left, Hadid may have confirmed the split on December 14 when she retweeted a post from Kehlani that read, "I do not owe you myself. I do not owe you any information about me beyond what I choose for you to know. I do not owe you strength when I am weak. I do not owe you answers just because you ask."

But this new move from Malik does nothing to help the fans.
