Actor-writer Zach Galifianakis' comedy series "Baskets" has been renewed for third season.

The Emmy-winning show is all set to return the next year on FX, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Galifianakis, who stars in the dual roles of twin brothers, Chip and Dale Baskets, is also one of the co-creators of the series.

Number of episodes is yet to be finalised for the next season. However, seasons one and two had ten episodes each.

"Baskets", which is set to wrap its second season on March 23, also features Louie Anderson and Martha Kelly in pivotal roles.
