Learning a new language is a challenge enough. But juggling two languages that are totally alien to her on screen is a feat that Yaami Gautam has undertaken. To top it all, she isn’t taking classes to learn these languages, but is finding it fun and easy to learn them on the sets itself.

Although Bollywood remains her first love, she is doing a double dhamaka by shooting for Gauravam and Courier Boy Kalyan in Tamil and Telugu. “I am shooting for two bilingual movies back to back which is quiet a challenge but I am loving it,” Yaami says and points out that there is not much difference in the creative process between Hindi movies and regional cinema.“Except for the language there is no other difference at creative level between Hindi and regional cinema,” she adds.

Getting the nuances and the accent right is proving to be quite an adventure for her but she is not deterred by it and shares, “The effort required is definitely a lot to balance both but I am enjoying my work and its a great way to evolve as an actor.”
