Raveena Tandon is not seen on screen regularly. The actress has been particular about the films she signs. Aside from whole lot of commercial films she's  also ventured into offbeat subjects such as Daman: A Victim of Marital Violence and Aks.

About her current projects she says, "I have just finished shooting for Maatr - The Mother, a movie about violence against women. The story is set in Delhi and Haryana. It is an offbeat subject and veers towards content-driven cinema."

Aside from a couple of projects on hand, she has been busy with family life.  "I am also writing columns, penning a book, and doing some social work. Moreover, I am looking after my kids," she says. When asked about working on the small screen Raveena said while she doesn't mind judging shows, she has no plans on acting.  "When I hear about how much time is required for the shooting, I find it daunting. It sounds exhausting," she added.
