Kanye's first tweet of the day was about everyone needing hugs sometimes. He continued the conversation by tweeting a close-up picture of the spiritual guru Mata Amritanandamayi, known to her followers as Amma Mata.

Mata Amritanandamayi hails from Parayakadavu in Kollam district of Kerala.

"I don’t see if it is a man or a woman. "I don't see anyone different from my own self. A continuous stream of love flows from me to all of creation. This is my inborn nature. The duty of a doctor is to treat patients. In the same way, my duty is to console those who are suffering," said Amma Mata about her desire to embrace others

She began embracing people in the late 1970's and has hugged over 33 million people over the span of over 30 years.

Featuring in Kanye's tweets can be tricky. He recently stirred controversy by tweeting his support to Donald Trump and his controversial motto of Make America Great Again. He also talked about slavery saying, "When you hear about slavery for 400 years. For 400 years? That sounds like a choice."
