Sunny Deol is back and how! His Ghayal Once Again hits theatres this Friday and there's a lot at stake for the actor. Although the film has a good recall value, courtesy its super-successful prequel that released in 1990, there's also a huge risk attached. Will Ghayal Once Again pass the acid test at the box office? It definitely has to.

Sunny has reportedly taken a lot of pain and is in huge debts after making Ghayal Once Again. Reports suggest that he supposedly mortgaged his properties- his theatre, his bungalow- to invest for the film. Reliance came on board much later but initially, it was tough for him to procure the finances to make the film.

Sunny even reportedly didn't want to act in the sequel but after many famous actors turned down the role, Sunny decided to take up the lead role one more time. Given its massy appeal, the film should have a decent opening at the box office and with last week's releases fizzling out and only Akshay Kumar's Airlift holding on, there's a strong ground for the film to benefit from.

If a good word of mouth ensues, then the collections will have a sure shot boost, which is all that Sunny requires at this point. The film has released in around 2800 screens, which also is an advantage so Ghayal should make the most use of it. After all, if Ghayal Once Again works, Sunny will have the happiest face around. Otherwise, there's financial trouble calling for the Dharam putra!
