Why did Deepika Padukone thank Mahesh Babu on Twitter?
'Bajirao Mastaani' actress Deepika Padukone thanked Mahesh Babu for praising her acting in 'Tamasha'.
Deepika Padukone has always maintained that Mahesh Babu is her favourite from among the Telugu stars. The actress has also showed interest in working with Mahesh for any project.
However, this camaraderie between the stars went to another level when Mahesh Babu called Deepika his favourite actress. While talking to an English daily, in a recent interview, he said, "My all time favourite actress was Sridevi but now it's Deepika Padukone. Deepika is brilliant. I was stunned by her as an actress in Piku. She is obviously beautiful, but can also act well, it's a lethal combination," said Mahesh.
Deepika, upon reading this, took to Twitter to thank her favourite Telugu actor.
The 29-year-old actress has been riding high since the success of her recent release Tamasha. Her upcoming release is Bajirao Mastaani, which hits theatres on December 18.
