Film: GolmaalOriginal actress: Rimi SenReplaced by: Kareena Kapoor khanWhy: While the first movie that released in 2006 had Rimi in it, the movie’s roaring success at the BO sure had the A-list actresses eyeing the sequel. She is expected to be a part of the next film too, but Rohit Shetty hasn’t announced the final star cast yet. And there’s many a slip between the cup and the lip, right?

Priyanka, who was the object of Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham’s affection in the movie, walked away with Bobby Deol in the end. It was only natural this time they would find a new girl to swoon over this time around. While reports claimed that Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone were in the running for the role, Dharma productions or director Tarun Mansukhani haven’t made any official announcement.

RaceOriginal actresses: Bipasha Basu, Katrina Kaif, Sameera ReddyReplaced by: Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez, Ameesha PatelWhy: Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor were the only players from the original movie who were retained in the sequel. While Race had Bipasha and Katrina , Race 2 had Deepika and Jacqueline. Sameera was replaced by Ameesha as Anil’s secretary.
