The 'Hello' hitmaker paused her show and invited local drag artist Kristie Champagne, whose real name is Kristopher Zello, up to the stage, reported Aceshowbiz.

The impersonator wore a handmade floor-length gown, similar to the one the 28-year-old British singer wears in her "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" video, along with make-up and wig.

"You look amazing, oh my gosh. I really love that dress," Adele told Kristie before hugging her.

Kristie, who performs as Adele twice a week, told her idol, "You seriously changed my life for the better." She later posted on Instagram and Twitter some photos of her and Adele

"That moment you meet adele...your idol and inspiration and you make the same dumb face you always make ! #kristiemeetsadele #dreamsdocometrue #adele @adele @adelettes," Kristie captioned one of the pictures.

Adele is currently on the North American leg of her 'Adele Live 2016' tour.
