A report on MidDay suggests that the housing society raised objections to her ‘single actress’ status. Nidhhi is now hunting for a new place. She told the tabloid, “I have lived with my friend for nearly six months. Now, hunting for a new place seems an impossible task.”

Apparently, her issues range from pesky neighbours to prying society board officials, who aren’t comfortable with Nidhhi staying in their midst. Though she doesn’t get into the details of what she faced, she says society boards are generally wary of letting out flats to aspiring actors and suspect that their pay cheques come from illicit activities. “Because I am single and an actress, I have been denied accommodation. As of now, that’s the biggest hurdle that I have faced here," she added.
