What? Ram Gopal Varma re-edited Sarkar 3 on Big B’s advice!

While it was assumed that the decision to delay Sarkar 3 had to do with the death in the family — Aishwarya’s father passed away close to the release date — one now hears that the feedback of a focus group asked to review it, was that the film was too long. So they had to go in for a re-edit. It was apparently lead actor Amitabh Bachchan’s idea to shorten the length. RGV did the needful. While we know Ramu does not listen to anybody, this time he heeded the Sarkar’s advice and hopefully the film will come out looking better.
