Favourite bookI read on and off, depending whenever I find the time. I really love reading biographies and historic books. I am currently reading Maharani Gayatri Devi’s biography. The book has been an eye opener, on the kind of life a royalty lives. It’s such a fairy tale, yet there are so many challenges. Through this book, I realised that in life everything might look perfect from the outside, but there are so many things than go on in the background.Favourite musicI really love old retro Hindi music songs. I am a huge fan of Kishore Kumar, RD Burman’s music. The songs from that era are timeless. I also listen to instrumental music. An absolute favourite is AR Rahman. I love his compositions from Dil Se and Sathiya. His music transcends boundaries and affects me in a way, that I cannot describe in words.Favourite film One of my all-time favourite films is The Bridges Of Madison County. I loved Meryl Streep’s acting in the film. I also loved her role in the movie The River Wild. If anyone asked me for a recommendation of watching some good performance, this would be my suggestion. It’s like the camera didn’t exist, when Meryl Streep was shooting for this film. In Bollywood, some of my favourite films are Rangeela, Sarfarosh, Dilwale Dulahnia Le Jayenge and Maine Pyaar Kiya. I am a huge fan of romantic comedy films too.
