This time Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) will have to fend off dead Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem) to live another day at the high seas. For that, he will have to find the legendary Trident of Poseidon.

On this journey, he will have to make an alliance with Carina Smyth (Kaya Scoldelario), an astronomer, and Henry (Brenton Thwaites), a sailor from Sparrow's arch nemesis, the Royal Navy. The situation gets tough when Salazar, who escaped the Devil's Triangle just to kill all the pirates in the world, is on Sparrow's tail.

Set to the haunting tunes of Johnny Cash's 'Ain't No Grave (Can Hold My Body Down)', the trailer also brings back Sparrow's old 'mates'. We see a very worried Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush), and an almost dead looking Will Turner (Orlando Bloom). There are rumours about Keira Knightley's Elizabeth Swann making a cameo but no sign of Penelope Cruz's Angelica.

The casting roster also includes Sir Paul McCartney. Will we see Sparrow jamming with McCartney?

Directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg, the movie is expected to release on May 26, 2017.
