Comedian Ssumier Pasricha who's better known for his comic characters like Pammy Aunty and Sarla Behenji among others, has written a poem addressed to Prime Minishter Narendra Modi. In the poem Ssumier( who can be seen in his comic avatar), urged PM Modi not to remain silent on issues of women security and rape.
In the poem, he gives the analogy of Bheeshma Pitamah from and Duryodhan from the Mahabharata who remained tight lipped when Draupadi was disrobed in public. He also warns against the inaction of those in authority that if nothing is done and strict action is not taken, then there is strong possibility of more wars on the lines of the Mahabharata.
In the video, Pammy Aunty can be seen talking to Sarla Bhenji over the phone, and she tells her that she has penned down some lines for the PM on social issues. She even says that before "Beti Bachao Beti Padhao" it's important to increase their security first.
