Watch: Sholay style teaser of Akshay Kumar's 'Gabbar Is Back'

The legendary villain from Sholay is back! This time it's Akshay Kumar and this Gabbar stands up for the good guys. In the new teaser trailer released on Friday, Akshay Kumar can be heard reciting iconic dialogues 'Ab Tera Kya Hoga Kaaliya' and 'Kitne Aadmi The' from the original film. 

The teaser has twist in the dialogue and with this twist, you get a glimpse of what the character has different this time round. In this third teaser of Gabbar Is Back, Kumar's title character delivers 'Pachaas Pachaas kos dur jab koi rishwat leta hai to sab kehte hain, mat le varna Gabbar aa jayega'.

Akshay Kumar and Sanja Leela Bhansali have teamed up again after the success of Rowdy Rathore. Gabbar Is Back is a story of an underground vigilante with a secret identity. Having lost everything in a freak accident, Gabbar turns into a hero but with a villainous instinct.

Directed by Krish and written by AR Murugadoss and Shiraz Ahmed, this movie is a remake of Tamil film Ramanna directed by Murugadoss. Movie also stars Shruti Haasan, Prakash Raj, Sunil Grover, and Suman Talwar in leading roles. Kareena Kapoor is set to do a cameo in the film.

The movie is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Viacom 18 motion pictures and is set to release on May 1.
