The first song of Sarbjit starring Randeep Hooda, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Richa Chadda is out and it is bound to leave you teary-eyed and emotional. The song titled 'Salamat' takes you through the life of Sarabjit played by Randeep Hooda.

Hooda shared the song on twitter saying, "Longing for the little moments of life .. #Sarbjit #Salamat (sic)."

In the song 'Salamat' sung by Amaal Mallik, Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar, Randeep Hooda is seen remembering his old days when he was with his family. You can witness a crackling chemistry between Hooda and Richa Chadda who plays the role of his wife in the film. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is also seen in the song looking for his brother and remembering the good old days. Both Richa and Aishwarya are seen seeking justice for Hooda who is convicted of terrorism and spying in Pakistan and was sentenced to death.

Sarbjit directed by Omung Kumar is based on Sarabjit Singh, an Indian farmer who takes the intensity of the film to another level through a painful transformation to a starved prisoner fighting for his life. 

The film is set to release on May 20, 2016.
