Jimmy Fallon, who will host the Golden Globe Awards in 2017, recently debuted the first promotion for the event by literally and partially lighting up Golden Globes.
In the promo clip, released by Hollywood Foreign Press Association and NBC, Fallon and multi-instrumentalist Questlove are bundled up outside a house with the late night talk show host announcing, "OK, Questlove, this is it. The big reveal! This is what I'm doing January 8th." And then he turns on the house' holiday lights that spell out 'GOLDEN GLOBES' on the roof. However, the light work short circuits and leaves the duo with an odd name.
Fallon previously hosted the 2010 Emmy Awards for NBC, while Ricky Gervais hosted the ceremony in 2016 and from 2010 to 2012. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler hosted from 2013 to 2015.
Fallon will be taking on hosting duties for the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards which airs live on January 8, 2017, on NBC.
