Ilayathalapathy's Vijay upcoming film Puli is breaking records and setting high expectations even before its release. Directed by Chimbu Devan, this fantasy-action-adventure film has been trending for several weeks now on social media.

The film's new trailer shows Vijay as a warrior who is well-versed in the art of sword-fighting. Kannada actor Sudeep looks majestic as the enemy while Sridevi's eyes show arrogance and her walk is befitting a queen. Hansika and Shruti Haasan display their wonderful dancing skills in the trailer to the peppy tunes of Devi Sri Prasad.

One more interesting element seen in the trailer is the very Game of Thrones (HBO's hit fantasy drama series) feel it has. The sets, the costumes, the weapons and the fighting skills exhibited by Vijay and Sudeep remind you of Jon Snow and Stannis Baratheon. Sridevi seems like Cersei while Hansika and Shruti show shades of Sansa Stark and Khaleesi.
