Released on Monday, the trailer starts as Frank Underwood narrates and we see him and wife Claire manipulate the American people.

Frank tells Claire, "They are like little children, Claire. We have to hold their sticky fingers and wipe their filthy mouths. Teach them right from wrong. Tell them what to think and how to feel and what to want."

To do all this there is Frank Underwood standing in the Oval office with Claire Underwood as they plan to rule America for eternity because it's "One Nation Underwood."

The chill would have run down someone's spine after seeing such ambition. After Frank utters the following: "The American people don't know what's best for them.... I do."

But the recent American elections and the aftereffects of it have left very little to the imagination.

Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright return to play Frank and Claire Underwood. New showrunners Melissa James Gibson and Frank Pugliese in media interactions had said that the fifth season will be about American psyche and turning that into a battlefield. Sounds familiar?
