In the trailer, perky as ever, Dory remembers something. “I remembered something! That’s not possible, is it? Is it like a picture in your head, and then you think, ‘I’ve seen that before?'” exclaims Dory. Instead of just swimming, Dory is sleep-swimming!

Ellen DeGeneres will reprise the role of Dory while Albert Brooks is returning to play the uptight clownfish, Marlin. The duo will set out to find Dory's family. This will lead them to the Marine Biology Institute of California, where Dory was born.

In their adventure, they will meet new creatures played by Eugene Levy, Diane Keaton (Dory's parents), Ed O'Neill (an octopus), Ty Burrell (a beluga whale), William Dafoe (a Moorish idol), and Kaitlin Olson (a shark whale).

The movie takes place six months after the events of 2003's Finding Nemo. It set to release on June 17, 2016.
