Shah Rukh Khan fans know that he started his career on the small screen. Some of us have even seen re-runs of the serial Fauji which was Shah Rukh's first crack at acting.

But seeing King Khan as an anchor for a Doordarshan show ushering Kumar Sanu onto the stage before either of them were famous is not a sight too commonplace.

It is a lesser known fact, that the superstar actually anchored quite a few shows back in the day.

Both Kumar Sanu and Shah Rukh Khan eventually went on to win consecutive Filmfare Awards and becoming the industry sensations in the 90's.
