Doctor Strange? More like Doctor dancing Strange!
Directed by Scott Derrickson, Doctor Strange was Marvel's biggest hit in 2016. Starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Mads Mikkelsen, Tilda Swinton, Benedict Wong, and Rachel McAdams, Doctor Strange is possibly the trippiest movie to come out of Marvel Studios.
The movie is also nominated in Best Visual Effects category for the Oscars 2017.
The studio will release Digital HD on February 14 and Blu-ray version will come out on February 28.
The featurettes unveiled ahead of the release include a peek behind the scene into the lengths to which Marvel went to cast Benedict Cumberbatch as Sorcerer Supreme. Names like Ryan Gosling, Joaquin Phoenix, Ethan Hawke were considered before Marvel saw that nobody other than Cumberbatch can do justice to the role.
Cumberbatch was playing Hamlet in London at the time and to accommodate that, the studio pushed back the schedule by 6 months.
