Watch: AR Rahman's nephew and Vishal Dadlani hit the goal in new football anthem for Chennai City FC!

AH Kaashif, AR Rahman's nephew, is known as the composer of the melody, 'Kannaley' with Javed Ali last year. Now he has come up with a different song. One that connects football and music!

"I have composed a song beginning with the words 'Goal Podu' for the Chennai City Football Club owned by Rohit Ramesh. Football is a game which is about team spirit and my song will enhance the spirit of the sport and the flavour of this popular sport in Chennai," he said.

The Goal Podu song is sung by Bollywood singer and composer Vishal Dadlani. The lyrics are by Mohan Raj. The Chennai City Football Club comes under Chennai Football Association and this team is part of the professional league.

The video of the song features the city of Chennai and it has been directed by Ashwin Ravindran. Cinematography is by GK Vishnu and it is edited by Sridharan GK, while the choreography is by Suresh Sathya.
