Watch: A comedian just made another Sachin-Lata Snapchat video to defend Tanmay
Comedian Utsav Chakraborth used the same face-swap technique that was used by Tanmay.
AIB’s Tanmay Bhat has been in eye of the storm since his Snapchat video ‘Sachin vs Lata Civil War went viral, and many have outrated about it. Now fellow comedian Utsav Chakraborty has decided to use the same technique Tanmay used, face-swap, to explain why Tanmay’s video is not a big deal and people shouldn’t outrage about it.
He said: “The joke is not that the person being made fun of is old. The joke is that this person wouldn’t actually do that. The joke is that I’m on Snapchat and bickering with another person who is not on Snapchat.” He adds: “Lata Mangeshkar is a legend, but that shouldn’t excuse her from jokes. In fact, especially because she’s a legend, we should make fun of her. In fact, it’s in bad taste to make fun of someone who’s less powerful.”
