TWMR which was earlier scheduled to release on May 29, along with Welcome Back will now release a week before, on May 22. Earlier, the film was tentatively releasing on June 12 with Vidya Balan's Hamari Adhuri Kahani. We hear that the makers decided to pre-pone the film, to adjust Priyanka Chopra's Dil Dhadakne Do.

"Eros International is also distributing Dil Dhadakne Do which stars Priyanka Chopra, Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Farhan Akhtar and others. Eros is producing TWMR too. So the makers did not want their films to release back to back. The team is very confident of TWMR and wants a good two week run for the film before DDD hits the screens. DDD also has an international appeal to it and boasts of a heavyweight star cast. The makers do not want to take any risk," said a source close to the production.

But now that they have planned to release the film on May 22, will TWMR lose a portion of their revenue because of the IPL season?
