Vijay Deverakonda-Ananya Panday's film titled 'Liger', Karan Johar shares 'punching' first look

The tagline of 'Liger' is 'Saala Crossbreed' and the film is directed by Puri Jagannadh.

Earlier titled Fighter, the Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer film is now called Liger. As announced by Karan Johar, the makers have unveiled the first look poster of the film much to the excitement of the fans. In the poster shared by KJo, Vijay is looking deadly while donning a look of a boxer. He has messy hairdo with a 'liger' in the backdrop. The tagline for the film is 'Saala Crossbreed'.

Karan posted the first look with a caption stating, "Proud to present LIGER, starring the ruler of big screens and many hearts - Vijay Deverakonda & the fiery Ananya Panday. The title seems to have changed after Siddharth Anand announced the title of his forthcoming directorial as Fighter starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.

With this film which is touted to be a pan-Indian flick, Vijay will be making his Bollywood debut. The film is directed by Puri Jagannadh and co-produced by Charmme Kaur.

Earlier while praising Deverakonda, Ananya had said, "I have yet to meet someone so grounded and humble despite being such a huge star. He is kind and soft-spoken."

Talking about her character, Panday had shared, "My character is quite like the real me. I think young girls will be able to relate to her cute, funny and charming personality. I am working on my Telugu too, learning a few words every day on the set. I will try to dub for myself in as many languages as possible."
