Vidyut Jamvwal goes the army way

Actor Vidyut Jamvwal is leaving no stone unturned to get into perfect shape for the lead character that he is playing in his next film. We told you how the actor has been busy with nine hours a day of rigorous fitness schedule, well now the actor is taking a step further with proper army training.

Known for his passion and dedication to martial arts, Vidyut has taken his commitment to a whole new level. He recently spent three weeks at a special physical training centre in Georgia that provides a secluded outdoor training environment. This particular training space is low profile and an undisclosed army training facility that trains all the commandos of the Russian and Georgian armies. This happens to be the same facility that trained the two hundred US army troops in 2002 to enhance their counter-terrorism capabilities. With the guidance of special army trainers, he is believed to be following a specific outdoor training routine as preparation for his next action film as the lead.

A source says, “Vidyut has always been someone who takes the idea of fitness, strength and agility very seriously, no matter whether it is for film or otherwise. He’s followed a focussed and regimented martial arts training since he was three from an ashram in Kerala. He visited this army training facility and trained with the army commandos where he followed a special training routine that combined running, strength and altitude training along with mountain running, grappling, striking endurance training with minimalistic food intake.”
