Vidya Balan is known for taking her roles very seriously. So much so that all her previous roles have become a part of her personality, while shooting for those films. History is repeating itself as Vidya gears up for her new film Ghanchakkar. The film which is a comic-thriller, will see Vidya tickle the funny bone. And the actor has taken her new comic avatar so seriously, that she is seen cracking jokes and making everyone laugh even when the camera isn’t rolling.
A source tells us, “Vidya is a serious actor and she always gets to the depth of her character. While shooting for Ghanchakkar, she had the whole cast and crew in splits with her jokes and funny anecdotes. She is simply going with the flow. She can easily crack anyone up with her jokes and actually comes up with some really unique ones. But that’s not all, the actor has been coming up with various jingles and rhymes in between the shots. She loves improvising and actually comes up with these nice rhymes which are hilarious.”
Vidya will be paired with actor Emraan Hashmi again, after their success in last year’s The Dirty Picture. “Even at a recent ad shoot, Vidya came up with this jingle on the spot and suggested it to the director. She is quite multi-talented when it comes to all these creative elements, and the way she does it seems so easy and graceful. Especially since nobody has actually seen this funny side to Vidya before. ”
The actor recently went to the holy city of Varanasi and even took to the streets to sample the banarasi paan and buy some banarasi saris.
