Veteran musician Ilayaraja will pay a musical tribute to legendary composer MS Viswanathan, who passed away last week.
"Viswanathan's musical skills and command are well-known. None other than me is aware of the finer nuances of his music and to highlight this, I will play with a small orchestra on July 27," the Virumandi composer said.
"Viswanathan, fondly addressed as MSV, may have died but his legend lives on," Ilayaraja said in a statement.
The musical event is being organised by Jeeva-Ilayaraja Educational Trust.
