Shraddha has been signed on for Nivin Pauly's Tamil film to be directed by Gautham Ramachandran. The director and the actress will be making their debut in Tamil. Reportedly, Shraddha auditioned for the part in February and since she didn't know Tamil, did not do too well. But she auditioned in April again after sprucing up her Tamil and snagged the role.

Interestingly, Shraddha played a journalist in U-Turn and will play a journalist in her debut Tamil flick as well. The actress has stated that the roles are quite different.

Shraddha has done two Kannada films and one Malayalam film so far. In 2015, she was part of an LGBT photo-series in Bengaluru titled 'Coming Out'. In 2007, the actress took part in the May Queen beauty pageant at the RSI Club at Secunderabad and made it to the Top 5.
