Timothy Dalton is reportedly being considered to play Batman’s loyal butler Alfred Pennyworth in the upcoming Batman v Superman flick. According to Cosmic Book News, the former ‘James Bond’ actor might step into the role that was earlier played by Michael Caine, Metro.co.uk reported.
Speculations are that director Zack Snyder and writer David Goyer are interested in a “different take” on the loyal butler. The upcoming ‘Man of Steel’ sequel which is expected to start shooting in Michigan early 2014, stars Ben Affleck opposite Henry Cavill, as Batman.
