Tia Bajpai gets too real for comfort!

Bollywood is rife with instances when actors are known to have gone to great lengths to make their scenes on the big screen look as authentic as possible. And one such actor happens to be Tia Bajpai who apparently insisted on doing a risky stunt herself for Vikram Bhatt’s 1920: Evil Returns. An insider reveals that Tia was required to shoot for a sequence where in her possessed state she throws up iron nails.

“While the unit and (director) Bhushan Patel suggested that they use special effects, Tia insisted on spitting out the nails herself. This meant holding the nails in her mouth before spitting them out, which was quite risky as the nail could injure her mouth and throat. But she did it even though at one point she was close to swallowing them. It did scare everyone, but she pulled it off flawlessly,” says the source. “Tia is a small packet of energy and guts! Even in Haunted, she had done most of her stunts on her own and that included being thrown about. She knew that beating the first 1920 in terms of her performance would be tough and so she gave it her all,” adds Vikram.
