WWE superstar The Undertaker hung up his boots after losing the main event of Wrestlemania 33 to Roman Reigns. Visuals of 'The Dead Man' folding his trademark trench coat and placing his hat in the middle of the ring went viral on social media. So iconic was the move that even after the support staff was cleaning out the arena, the hat and coat remained where The Undertaker left it.

The Undertaker made his WWE (then the WWF) debut in 1990 as a mystery partner to the 'Million Dollar Man' Ted Debiase's Survivor Series squad. Since then, The Undertaker fought several superstars - some who have since retired until last night, when he called it a day.

There was a period in 1994 when The Undertaker fought The Undertaker. This was a storyline that was developed by WWF (as the company was known then) as part of the real Undertaker's (played by Mark Callway) return after a back injury. The fake Undertaker (played by Brian Lee) created havoc before Callaway's Undertaker finished him off in the 1994 SummerSlam event.

Lee, however, reprised his Undertaker persona in the 1996 Akshay Kumar-starrer Khiladiyon ka Khiladi. Interestingly, before the movie released, the WWF had made its maiden trip to India where they performed in Mumbai and Delhi. Wrestlers such as The Undertaker, Bret Hart, Yokozuna and Hunter Hearst Helmsley (who is now known as Triple H) had made the trip back them. The producers of Khilidiyon Ka Khiladi used this as a gimmick to get wrestlers to participate. Funnily, none of the wrestlers who had come to India were part of the movie, and WWF had no role in its production. The only two wrestlers in the movie were Brian Adams (famously known as Crush, who was a free agent at the time and Lee, whose contract with the WWF had ended by then.

Both Crush and The Undertaker spoke in Hindi, tried killing each other and the highlight of the movie was Akshay Kumar lifting The Undertaker in the movie's climax, while supporters screamed 'Jai Mata Di'.
