Karan Johar's already bought the rights to Marathi blockbuster Sairat and he's already remaking it in Hindi. While many were vying for the same, KJo's clinched the deal.
The remake will go on floors sometime next year. And Karan's already finalised someone to be launched with the film. Yes, Karan who's the mentor to Sridevi's eldest daughter Jhanvi Kapoor will be launching her with this film.
The romantic tragedy had turned out to be a huge blockbuster at the box office and was the only Marathi film to cross 100 crore.
