'The Kapil Sharma Show' promo: Did Kapil copy rival Krushna Abhishek?

Kapil Sharma is back with his entire gang. In a different show on a different channel. His new show will be telecast on Sony TV and is titled The Kapil Sharma Show. The first promo of the film was unveiled on Tuesday and like we had previously told you, it had Kapil's gang getting on board a chopper which is hijacked by Navjot Singh Sidhu and then the entire team enters the sets in a rickshaw.

The show promises to be a lot of fun and also marks the return of the formidable team that made Comedy Nights with Kapil the most loved comedy show on Indian television. Now, while Kapil's promo is making quite a wave, here's what we came across. The idea behind the new promo looks uncannily similar to the promo shot of rival Krushna Abhishek's show OMG! Yeh Mera India. 

Now, Kapil and Krushna have been at loggerheads ever since Kapil turned his back on CNWK and Colors decided to replace Kapil with Krushna. Comedy Nights Live might not have worked as expected but the backlash between Kapil and Krushna was evident from the way the latter took digs at the former on his new show. 

But with this, fans have been left a little disappointed with Kapil. We're sure Kapil, who's considered the doin of comedy in the country right now could have done better and come up with something more innovative for his show's promo rather than just sticking to the basics and ending up copying his own rival.
